Ronald Keeling Obituary


RONALD E. "OSCAR THE GROUCH" KEELING, 66, of Charleston went Home to be with the Lord at Charleston General Hospital on January 11, 2025.
He was the son of the late Denzil E. and Hilda Mullins Keeling.
He was a 1977 graduate of Dunbar High School and had worked as a graphic designer. Ron was not a church goer, but he was a believer in Christ.
Ronald has no known survivors, but his friends will have a celebration of his life at a future date.
In lieu of flowers Ronald would want you to make a donation to any agency that provides help for the homeless.
Cooke Funeral Home, Nitro, is in charge of arrangements, and you may send condolences to www.cookefuneralhome.com.

Ron was a talented musician, whose friendships inspired him to write music. I remember one song he played gave me an earache in my eye. He said it was supposed to, it was based on domestic violence and told me how he came up with the idea. Ron wasn't always grumpy, and had a heart. He was just picky about his coffee...
