Guy Loop Obituary

Guy P. Loop, 59 of East Lake Rd, Hamilton, NY passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at his home. He was born October 27, 1965, in Hamilton, NY. Guy was predeceased by both his parents, George W. Loop and Jacqueline (Merkt)Loop, as well as his brother, Michael W. Loop. Guy is survived by his daughter, Sabrina Loop, of Syracuse, NY. His lifelong friend, Patricia Duheme, of Omaha, Nebraska. His Aunt, Jane Loop, of Hubbardsville, NY. Many cousins and friends. Guy was a graduate of Hamilton Central School (1984) where he was a standout athlete, playing football, hockey, and baseball. After high school Guy attended Herkimer Community College, and Cortland State University. Guy worked as an Assistant Golf Pro for Bellevue Country Club, Syracuse NY. He then worked for Hoefler Communications, Syracuse, NY. The last 10 years, Guy was employed by Vantine Imaging, Hamilton, NY. Friends are invited to calling hours at 12 pm on Saturday, November 30th, at the Park United Methodist Church, 17 Broad Street, Hamilton, NY. A memorial service will follow at 1 pm. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions in Guy's memory may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc. 4277 Middle Settlement Rd.
