Ross was a friend to our son, Graham, out in Tucson. They loved playing basketball and going thrifting. We heard all about Ross graduating from NC State, and I know he was an inspiration to our son (who is still in college.) Your family continues to be in our prayers every day.

Dearest Mindy and Bobby, we hate that we have to come here and write in this guestbook. We hate ALL of this. The only thing that keeps me going is remembering what a gift the two of you brought into this world. It was better to have known Ross for the short time we did, and lose him, than to have never known your crinkly blue eyed angel. Our hearts, minds and prayers are with you both. We are always here, ready to hold you up and support you in whatever way we can. We love you both, and stand with you in mourning your cherished, and only son. Love, Ruth & Andrew
He was a gift.
Not like those you cherish from under the tree and discard in years to come.
He was a gift in how he imagined, created and persevered.
He was a gift.
Not ones you unwrap from a shiny box, but the gem you find hidden under a rock.
He was a gift in the way he humbly spoke of his achievements and accolades.
He was a gift.
Not the ones you have to give, but the ones so good you have to share.
He was a gift in the way he sparkled and shined, even if inside; sad or scared.
He was a gift.
Not the kind you toss away or tire of, but the kind that gets better with time.
He was a gift, curious, courageously creative; the Kooky Keeps entrepreneur.
He was a gift.
The kind that filled hearts with compassion, love and laughter.
He was a gift; to all the world who knew him there is no happy after.
He was a gift.
The most precious of all, like the sun, the stars and moon.
He was a gift, taken from us all far too soon.
May all those who knew him remember and never forget - Legos and Soccer Rock! :P
