Rachel Driscoll Obituary
Rachel Marie Driscoll was a charismatic woman who touched the hearts of many. She passed away at 52 unexpectedly in her sleep on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at her residence in Haverhill.
She was born in Okinawa, Japan, on March 16, 1973, daughter of Raymond F. Driscoll and Susan (Papatola) Brown.
She had lived in many different places throughout life, her youth in New Hampshire and her 20's spent in the exciting city of Boston where she made many friends with ease.
Rachel was educated in the Haverhill School System and graduated from Raymond (NH) High School with the Class of 1991. She went on to attend school at UNH. She worked as a CNA for Whittier Rehabilitation, where her friendliness was an incredible comfort to the patients she bonded to.
Rachel had no limits to her charisma, whether it was with children, the elderly or anyone in between, she would ask them questions and learn about them with genuine interest.
She was raised by two sets of parents: Her birthmother Susan Brown and stepfather James Brown, and her birthfather Raymond Driscoll and stepmother Betsey Driscoll of Dracut. Having many parents to look up to helped mold her to a diverse set of standards and interests, with a dynamic that made her the person she was at core throughout life.
Rachel had many siblings: Genevive Roy, Matthew Driscoll, Haley Regan, Adam Driscoll, Nicholas Driscoll and Anastasia Brown. Some siblings born much later than herself, which gave her the opportunity to help raise them to be outstanding people.
In addition to this family, she is survived by her loving children Rubin Russell and Johan Russell, who both moved to Boston not long before her passing, and were eagerly awaiting her to join them down there. If there's anything she took the most pride in it was raising her two children to become good people, being not just a mother to them, but a best friend. She also had a chapter in her life where she helped raise her past partner's son as his stepmother, Trevor Papachristos. She taught him that it's okay to be who you are and showed him unwavering acceptance, but also was the only stern hand to correct his behavior, ultimately setting him up for a better future.
Later in life she had a significant other Joseph Page for over a decade. They faced many struggles and tragedies, being rather unlucky, but stuck through strong for their children. Services are private and at the convenience of the family, but do not hesitate to contact them for invitation. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Bradford~Haverhill.
