Gary Ward Obituary

Gary A. Ward, 74, a resident of Center Ossipee, NH, died on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Portsmouth Hospital. He was born on December 18, 1950 in Haverhill, MA and was the son of the late Lawrence and Alexina (LaPierre) Ward. Gary was raised and educated in Plaistow, NH and was a graduate of Timberlane High School, Class of 1969. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force. Gary was employed at the former Western Electric, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies in North Andover, MA for over twenty years until his retirement. He enjoyed boating, nature, trips to the White Mountains, country music and Christmas. Gary will be missed by all who knew him. Gary is survived by his sons Brian Ward of Ossipee, NH, and Jason Ward of Ossipee, NH, his grandchildren Ava Ward and Jacob Ward, his siblings Robert Ward of Auburn, NH, Bruce Ward of Danville, NH, and Laurie Bogle and her husband Brian of Farmington, NH. He also leaves behind his former spouse and the mother of his children Janice Ward. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 4pm – 7pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. Interment will be held privately.
