Charles Malmsten Obituary

Charles N. Malmsten Jr., 43, a lifelong resident of Kingston, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 14, 2025 at his home in Brentwood, NH. He was the beloved son of Charles Sr. and Rita (Devine) Malmsten. He was born on August 16, 1981 in Haverhill, MA. Charles was raised and educated in Newton, NH and Kingston, NH. He was a graduate of Sanborn Regional High School, Class of 2000. He was a skilled contractor, working at various local construction businesses. Charles enjoyed skateboarding, art, hiking, music and his family. He was a gifted musician with a special love for his guitar. He also had a great love for animals, especially his cat Mowgli. Besides his parents, Charles is survived by his beloved sister Amie Joy Malmsten and her fiancé Glenn Krick of Amesbury, MA, his nephew Trevor Charles Almon, and his longtime significant other Victoria MacMillian and her daughter Elizabeth of Brentwood, NH. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. Charles was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Aurora and William Devine and his paternal grandparents Marie and Norman Malmsten. Funeral service and interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish, can make a donation to their favorite charity in Charles's memory. Memorial Donation
