Margaret M. Wright

WRIGHT - Margaret M., 95, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, in Tulsa, OK. Born July 5, 1927, in Milwaukee, WI to Edith M. (Huebner) and Edward C. McKay.

A professional clothing designer at Florence Eiseman, she designed children's wear and couture for Caroline Kennedy and Princess Anne of Monaco; created TV wardrobe for "Buffy" on hit TV show "Family Affair" under Johnston of Dallas in Texas. She moved to Tulsa in the late 1970s, and enjoyed life as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She was known for her determination, kindness, and good-hearted mischief.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Wright, DDS, daughter, Christine A. Clanton and step-daughter, Nancy Wright-Nilles. Survived by: daughter, Joan C. Gallo; stepson, William E. Wright and wife, Helga; grandchildren Lisa Clanton, Kevin Clanton and wife, Sydnie, Jennifer Bertrand and husband, Austin, Jeffrey Wright and wife, Christina, Matthew Wright and wife, Hillary, Robert Marlow and wife, Monica, Lynne Marlow and Sandra Ahmed; great-grandchildren Madeleine and Josephine Bertrand, Jude Clanton, Christian and Sofia Wright, Fisher, Foster and Finley Wright, Gabriel Marlow, Isabella Marlow, Sydney and Seth Susuico, and Anya Ahmed.

Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, 2022 and funeral service at 10 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2022 both at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233 share memories at www.moorefuneral.com
