Mary Fullerton Obituary

Mary Jane Fullerton, 83, of Sarver, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries. Born Aug. 2, 1938, in Sarver, she was the daughter of Andrew Durci and Bertha Bibza Durci. Mary Jane was married to her loving husband Jim for 30 years. They liked to go camping and spend time with their family and friends. Mary Jane loved to cook, bake and can from her garden. She even wrote her own cookbook. You could always find her working outside in her yard or on a household project. She loved country music, but her favorite was Elvis Presley. Later in life, Mary Jane enjoyed traveling with George, her longtime companion. Surviving are her children, Barb (Gary) Myers, of Slippery Rock, Donald (Pam) Fullerton Jr., Pam (Tim) Stivenson, of Marienville, and Kim (Kevin) Fish, of Sarver; six grandchildren, Autumn (Curt) Summerville, Jessica (Jimmy) Bittner, Brandon Artkowsky, Victoria (Greg) Lechner, Drake (Cheyenne) Fish and Katie Fish; and nine great-grandchildren, Brendon, Josh, Andrew, Allison, Shane, Brayden, Ashlynn, Aiden and Nova. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Fullerton Sr., her granddaughter, Stacy Vedilago, and her longtime companion, George Abbott. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022, at FOX FUNERAL HOME INC., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022, with Carmen Shullo officiating. Interment will follow in Freeport Cemetery. www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
