Laura Holmes Obituary

Laura Ann Holmes, 58, of Indiana Township, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh. She was born Nov. 13, 1963, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Laura Ann (Badali) Kusserow. Laura was the activity director at Farma Family Campground in Mercer County for the past five plus years. She was a people person who was talented at planning and organizing events and parties for the campground, friends and family. Laura was an avid bingo player. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Robert R. Holmes; children, Dennis (Susan) Stiokis, of Indiana Township, Laura (Craig) Richards, of Montana, Faith Holmes, of Indiana Township, Katie Trageser, of Pittsburgh, and Shawn Holmes, of Indiana Township; brothers, Robert (Erin) Hubbard, of Allegheny Township, and RJ (Camie) Hubbard, of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Abigale McCormick, Savannah and Emilia Richards and Alex and Kacie Stiokis; and brother in-law, Rex Calhoun. She was preceded in death by her mother; son, Scott M. Holmes; and sister, Donna Calhoun. Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2022, at ADAM SIEMIANOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 179 Starr Road, Russellton, West Deer Township, PA 15076.
