Anna Cilli Obituary

Anna Marie Cilli, 94, of Jeannette, passed away Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021, in the Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Aug. 12, 1927, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late John and Mary Frendy Chump. Anna was a member of the Ascension Church, Jeannette. She had a deep love of family, faith, and, most of all, her grandchildren. Anna enjoyed reading, puzzle books and cowboy movies. Anna also enjoyed cooking and feeding her loved one's delicious Italian foods. In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband, Michael E. Cilli, in 2013; sisters, Lucille and Mary Anthony; and brothers, John, Alex and Joseph. She is survived by her children, Michele Urick and husband, Richard, of Jeannette, and Cary Cilli and wife, Donna, of Irwin; a grandson, Michael Urick and wife, Janet; a granddaughter, Rachelle Cilli; a great-granddaughter, Lucia "Lucy" Urick; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 North Second St., Jeannette. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in the Ascension Church with Father Job Foote as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, Delmont.
