Jerome "Jerry" P. Watts Sr., 68, of Pittsburgh (Northside), transitioned from this life on Thursday, July 17, 2025. Beloved husband of Kim (Vasser) Watts; father of Jerome P. Watts Jr. and James D. Watts; brother of James W. Watts Jr. (Karen) and Jeffrey L. Watts (Laura). Also survived by other family members and friends. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 22 Sampsonia Street, Pittsburgh, 15212. Funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025. Interment at Highwood Cemetery. Services of comfort entrusted to WATTS MEMORIAL CHAPEL INC., 808 Talbot Ave., Braddock, PA 15104, (412) 271-3880. Nose and mouth protection is voluntary for attending visitation and service.

To the Family of Jerry,

My heart grieves with you. Jerry was my very first playmate - we spent our childhood turning the city steps of Bryn Mawr Rd. into our playground. Our mothers, best friends just like us, always kept an eye on us - whether from my kitchen at 753 Bryn Mawr Rd. or from theirs across the street.

Though we lost touch as adults, Jerry´s memory never left my heart. He had a pure and gentle spirit, even as a child.
