Patricia Mossey Obituary

Mossey, Patricia A. LATHAM Patricia A. Mossey, 77 of Latham, beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Mossey Jr., entered into eternal life on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. Born in Green Island, on January 6, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and the late Frances M. (Lyons) Jones. Pat worked for many years at the Shaker Jr. High cafeteria kitchen. She loved her family vacations to Cape Cod. She enjoyed craft fairs with her sister Leanne. Pat loved family gatherings especially Christmas and her Thursday night "tea social" with the girls. Survivors include her loving children, David M. Mossey and his husband William A. Schwartz, and Kevin T. Mossey; her sister, Leanne F. Jones; brother and sister-in-law, Richard (Patti Zembruzski) Mossey; nephews, Brian (Jennifer) Loiselle, whom she thought of as her third son, and Andrew (Monica) Mossey; grand niece, Falicia Peterson; grandnephew, AJ Mossey; special cousins, Victoria DeGroat, Michael Lyons, and Bill Jones. She was the dear friend for over 50 years to Nancy Pascale, Jeanine LaRose, and Barbara Cavanaugh. She was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Roland Loiselle; and nephew Richard Mossey Jr. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 4, at 10 a.m. in the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday, August 3, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford.
