Bonnie. It has been a year co: my thoughts go back to our least conversation: difficulty with a malfunctioning phone made it impossible to communicate for over a month. The day before you died after multiple hospital calls the nurse acknowledge you were a patient. With the phone she went to you and told you your sister was on the phone. I heard you moan , told you I love you.
I do not dwell there but turn back the hands of time. We shared a bed and later our own beds in the same bedroom. As children we shared adventures, clothing, secrets. They say as long as you remember someone they have never departed. .
I will never let you part
for you will be forever in my heart.

Bonnie. It is almost Thanksgiving. I remember ... your last family dinner in Sebastian when Doug was in rehab .... Everyone looking forward to recovery. What followed no one could have foreseen.
I miss you. Memories of times together, childhood are still with me. Heaven is our reward.

And I will always remember my childhood memories of growing up with my big sister who named me Sis. We shared a bedroom, clothing , activities and our pets. She loved a brother born after me. She mothered our younger siblings Caroline and William.
And to think of picking up children from their home, taking them to school and back safely for 37.5 years ... Amazing. !
And Bonnie and Doug were Christians who loved our Lord.
She was a phenomenal baker and cook.. in later years she shared recipes, sent holiday baked goods. Geographically we lived apart, visited when possible but our almost daily conversations kept us close. I will miss you Bonnie. Until we meet again. Love you.
