Terry Rose Sullivan went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2022 at Viviant Health Care in Bristol, Tennessee after an extended illness. Terry Rose was born and raised in Elbow City in Pressman's Home, Tennessee.
She was of Baptist faith being saved at Maple Hill Baptist Church and was baptized at Choptack Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Lyons Sullivan and Blanche Agnes Sullivan; and brother, Benny Melvin Sullivan.
She is survived by brother, James Edward Sullivan and wife, Peggy; twin brother, Jerry Lynn Sullivan and wife, Penny; and several nieces and nephews.
Terry's favorite color was purple. She graduated from Rogersville High School and attended the Technical Center in Rogersville. After graduation, she worked as an assistant to Lawyer William Phillips in Rogersville. Terry Rose then moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where she attended the University of North Florida. Terry Rose earned her paralegal degree and graduated in the top of her class with a 4.0 GPA. Terry worked in Jacksonville with Law Firms Spuhrer, Wilner, Maxwell and Matthews and Law firm of Stone, Stoudemire, Morgan and Dore on tobacco and asbestos cases. Later Terry moved closer to home and worked in Lexington, Kentucky as a paralegal with the law firm of McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie, and Kirkland PLLC.
Due to health reasons, Terry retired in Rogersville, Tennessee where she has resided for the last ten years. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all her friends and family members that have supported and loved her these last few years. Ed and Jerry wish to also thank the Kingsport Kidney Center, Holston Valley Hospital for the love and help that you gave our sis over the years.
