M. Ross Obituary

M. Charles Ross
M. Charles Ross passed peacefully at home on June 23, 2025 after making heroic efforts battling a rare form of leukemia. He was 76 years old.
He is survived by his loving and strong partner of 53 years, Betty Ross, and his two daughters, Alli Ross and Carrie Ross-Gingerich and his sons in law, Matt Gingerich and Erich Ludwig. Charles was a fun- loving, present and playful grandfather to his 4 grandchildren Elena (12), Caleb (11), Isaac (9), and Ethan (8). His two brothers, Marc Ross and Richard Ross were his rocks and good friends.
Charles founded the Ross Company as a financial planner, where he was able to use his creative, congenial and charismatic personality. Not only did his clients become his friends, his friends also became his clients.
He was an adventurous traveler, spending 15 years learning Portuguese and traveling to Brazil where he built long lasting friendships and cultivated business. As an avid athlete he enjoyed golfing, swimming, spinning and running track. He loved drawing and painting with his family. One of his biggest gifts was to mentor and empower others to be their best selves.
He will be deeply missed, as he was an influential force in so many people's lives.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m. on August 27, 2025 at the Candlewood Inn, 506 Candlewood Lake Rd., Brookfield, Connecticut.
Contributions in Charles' memory may be made to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society, POB 22324, New York, NY 10087.

Chuck was one of my first male friends, as his parents and mine were good fiends, spending weekend get togethers throughout the years in RVC. Being friends with Chuck was fun, and safe. You could tell him your secrets and he would respect and keep them to himself. One summer we got closer, writing each other from camp, sealing the envelopes with SWAK. I heard from him occasionally in the past few years by email, always asking how I was and how my family was doing. I will miss those emails and enjoy our memories of being close kids and teenagers together. See you on the other side Chuck.
