Died: March 17, 2026
Jim Alberico passed peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, on March 17, 2026. A bright light has gone out of the world, but his music, his gentle nature, his great smile, his wild hair, but most of all his beautiful soul will shine forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
Jim was preceded in death by his older brother, Robert, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverlee; his devoted son, Zak (Mandi); brothers Ron (Laurie) and David; stepsons BJ Carrick and Ryan Carrick; grandchildren Dylan, Hunter, Asher, and Zoey Alberico, and Violet Carrick; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, bandmates, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that you consider a donation to Lightways Hospice Care in Joliet. More information is available at https://lightways.org.
A celebration of James' life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Words of remembrance will be held at 7:00 p.m. Per James' wishes cremation rites will be accorded following services.
