Jeffery Strickland Obituary

Jeffery Strickland of Maryville, TN, passed away surrounded by loved ones and Jesus shortly after learning he had cancer. Jeff was great at making others laugh and telling stories. He enjoyed listening to classic rock, fishing, a good smoke, woodworking, the open road, gardening, and being in nature. He rescued many pets, including his dog, Gypsy. Jeff had many meaningful friendships, including with Mark Graham. He was close to his brother, Ron, throughout his life. Jeff was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa "Terri," whom he missed until his final day. He was a devoted father to her two sons, and his granddaughter, Emerson, was his pride and joy. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Strickland, and became a dedicated caretaker to his mother, Dorothy Strickland. He is also survived by siblings, Judy (Jimmy) McClure, Ronald (Judith) Strickland, and Nancy Boring; his sons, Adam (Candice) Clarke and Derrick (Claire) Clarke; and nephews and nieces, including Johanna Rainer. His ashes will be spread as he wished.
