Joshua Wright Obituary
Joshua Keith Wright, 37, of Searcy, Ark., passed from this life on Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021. Josh was born in Searcy on Oct. 4, 1984, to Terri Fowler and Bradley Wright.
Josh is a 2003 graduate of Searcy High School and a 2007 graduate of Arkansas State University. He joined the United States Army after high school and served his country for eight years. Josh served two tours in Iraq. He was also a member of the Arkansas State University ROTC.
Josh is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ted and Thelma Fowler; his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Delores Wright; and uncle, Tim Fowler.
Josh is survived by his daughter, Emma Wright of Benton, Ark.; his parents, Terri Fowler (Jimmy) of Little Rock, Ark., and Bradley Wright (Tonya) of Searcy, Ark.; brothers, Madison Wright and Peyton Wright, both of Searcy; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy. The family will receive visitors at 12 p.m. with services to follow at 1 p.m.

I'm so sorry for your the loss of your loved one, Josh was a very nice well manered young man. We will miss him. We all loved Josh. Josh was married to my niece Arica.

I played ball with Josh. He had a ton of heart and it was no surprise at all that he later joined the Army and served his country for years, completing two tours. Thank you for your service, Josh. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Wright family during this difficult time.

Josh's yard on Robbye Lane backed up to ours on Lambert Circle. While we only spoke a few times, we were thankful to have someone there that we knew. Wish we had been a better neighbor. So very sorry for your loss.
