Linda Roberts Obituary

Proverbs 31, "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies."

Linda Roberts, age 75, of Dublin, IN, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 23, 2023. Linda was the last surviving member of the children born to Elbert and Nellie Russell. She leaves to cherish her memory; husband, Jerry Roberts; daughter, Tia Morgan; son, Ty (Brandi) Roberts; son-in-law, Timothy Morgan; grandchildren, Ciera (Nathan) Davis, Alexis (Gage) Scott, Noah Morgan, Brooklyne Morgan, Averie Roberts, Spencer Roberts; nephews, Gary (Janet) Winstead, Josh Russell, Troy (Jennifer) Roberts; nieces Kimberly (Cory) Wilmoth, Ellen and Jacob Shelton; sister-in-law, Jill Shelton and many nieces and nephews.

Linda graduated from Connersville High School and attended Ivy Tech Community College. She married her best friend, Jerry, on May 17, 1969, and they started their own excavating business later that year. They worked side by side every day for over fifty years. She loved visiting the ocean, line dancing, riding the motorcycle with Jerry, and drinking her Coca-Cola. Linda was a Godly woman with an unconditional and selfless love for her family and friends. Her grandchildren were her world. They spent countless hours snuggling, playing games, doing homework, and watching crime shows. Linda's quick wit and sassiness brought so much laughter. No one ever knew what she was going to say, and she always had something to say. Linda never met a stranger and could light up an entire room with her smile and humor. Despite her struggles, she never complained and always responded with, "I'm fine" which she genuinely meant. Linda was a beautiful person inside and out. She made an impact on many lives and will be deeply missed forever. We rejoice in the assurance of her salvation and the promise that she is walking with our Lord. Linda's faith in God and the example of Christ that she showed in her everyday life exemplified a Proverbs 31 woman. She was a true role model to her family and those who knew her.

To honor Linda's wishes, there will be no services. She wanted to be remembered through the memories of love and laughter she shared with people. Arrangements for Linda have been entrusted to Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin where online condolences can be made anytime at www.marshallander leweinfuneralhome.com.

My sister-in-law Linda will be greatly missed. She has been a close and loving friend also. She was anxious to meet her Savior, she was a praying woman and had great faith in God. I loved her dearly, until we meet again soon.....
