Ann Waylonis Obituary
Born on July 30, 1943 in DuBois, she was the daughter of Anthony Waylonis Sr. and Ann (Kardysauskas) Waylonis.
Ann was a 1961 graduate of DuBois High School and a 1965 graduate of Steubenville College.
Ann taught elementary school in Maryland and at St. Catherine's school in DuBois. Later, for many years she was the manager of the Best Western motel in DuBois. After retirement from full time work Ann worked part time at the Courier Express as an editor. Ann enjoyed reading, gardening, travel and the company of family and friends. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sorely missed.
Ann is survived by her brother, Anthony Waylonis, Jr. who resides in DuBois, her special nephew Anthony Waylonis from Alexandria, VA, and her special niece Ellen Waylonis from Cambridge, MA.
Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph.
There will be no public visitation and a private family funeral service will be held.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorials may be placed with St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

I had "Miss Way" in elementary school at St. Catherine's. She was a kind and thoughtful teacher and an inspiration to us all. We loved her. Later, my mother had only good things to say about her when they worked the desk at Best Western. She will be missed.
