Tammy Davidson Obituary

My beautiful, sweet and selfless wife and mother of our children, Tammy Marie Davidson, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus Christ, her savior, at the age of 60 on October 9, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was raised in and a lifelong resident of Livonia. Tammy was born at Pointe Coupee General Hospital in New Roads on December 17, 1960. She worked and retired from the state department of revenue and taxation; she enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, shopping and listening to many types of music like her father, Mr. Joe. She also had a passion for decorating and loved making crafts from scratch. She will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her mother-in-Law and father-in-Law; Barbara and Peeler Davidson of Livonia, her husband of 40 years, Keith Davidson, daughter Brittany Fortie (Brandon) of Livonia and son Cody Davidson (Brittany) of Livonia, three grandchildren; Gracelyn and Kaysn Davidson, Braxton Fortie and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Guidroz Donachricha, father Joseph Donachricha, sister Mona Kidder, grandmother Ezola David Donachricha, her grandfather Michel Donachricha, grandmother Violet Comeaux. Those attending visitation and the Christian services are asked to please wear a mask or other face covering and be mindful of social distancing. Visitation will be at Faith Baptist Church located at 3040 Richfield Dr. in Livonia on October 11, 2021 from 8:30 am to 11:00 am followed by Christian services performed by Pastor Freddie Rodrigue. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cabrini Cemetery located on Okelousas street in Livonia. Pallbearers will be Freddie Guidroz, Robbie Guidroz, Mitch Jarreau, Joshua Jarreau, Jason Guidroz, Jeremy Jarreau. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Jarreau, Raymond Jarreau, Gary Guidroz and Peeler Davidson We would also like to thank Pointe Coupee Healthcare/Hospice especially Mrs. Joanne Christmas and Tytiana Edmonds for their care and continued support of our family during Mrs.Tammy's illness.
