Ronald Williams, a resident of Baker, LA, departed life on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 56 and a native of Thibodeaux, LA., visiting at Church of God, Baton Rouge, LA., on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at church from 8:00am until service time 10:00am conducted by Dr. Verron Phillips. Interment in Livas Cemetery, Thibodeaux, LA. He leaves to cherish his loving and devoted wife, Lorraine L. Barney Williams, Baker, LA , His mother, Mary J Williams, Thibodaux, LA; (3) sons: Donald Barney, Jr, Lamar C. Barney and Damien D. Barney all of Huntsville, AL; (3) sisters : Annette Williams, Diana Williams and Tina Williams; (3) brothers Walter William, Jr (Pearl), Gregory Williams (Peggy) and Clarence R. Williams (Shandell); (4) Aunts: Gloria Sheppard, Diane West, Beulah Williams, Ethel M Williams; (3) uncles Thomas K West, (Barbara), Clarence West (Crystal) and James E. West. His mother-in-law, Redina H. Lee, Galvez, LA. (8) grandchildren: Ja'Myia, D'Myrian, Kristen, Jaihlin, Lamar, Jr., Malachi, Daleiah and Denham Barney, (4) sisters-in-law, (7) Brothers-in-law;(4) aunts-in-law;(4) uncles-in-law, host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father the late Walter Williams, Sr., Father-in-law: Reverend Eddie Lee Sr. maternal grandparents: Thomas Kelly and Estell West. Paternal grandparents, Coleman and Daisy Williams and (1) sister-in-law: Emma L. Thomas, (2) granddaughter's: Doniya and Lundyn Barney.
