Julia Hawkins was such a great and inspiring lady. She seemed to have a twinkle in her eye and a sunny outlook. All of us should take a page from her book. I cherish the memory of her taking me through her wonderful yard when I stopped to say hello.

Unlike most funerals, it is difficult to conjure up an unwelling of sad feelings for our Julia's departure from this physical world. 108 years of grand experiences and a tight knit family like no other we have known! We will miss her presence but know she will undoubtedly be setting records in a better place with Buddy cheering on.
