Jessie Mae Collins, a native of McCrea, LA and a lifelong resident of Melville, LA transitioned to her heavenly home on April 26, 2022 at the age of 85. Private viewing for family only on Friday, May 6, 2022. Religious service on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 11am, visitation at 9am at Emma Zion Missionary B.C., 532 Emma Zion Street, Melville, LA 71353, Pastor John Harris, officiating. Interment in Sweet Home Cemetery, Melville, LA. Survived by ten children: Sandra and Meryl Young, Michael, Beverly, Gregory, and Darrell Oliney, Joyce Hurd, Doris Golston, Carmon Ricks, and Sharon Adams; one sister; Savannah Fornette, one uncle; George Mc-Cray Oliney III, other relatives and friends, including a special friend she considered a daughter; Joyce Whittacker.
