Craig Haynes Jr. Obituary

Craig Clifton Haynes, Jr., affectionately known as "CJ", departed this life on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the age of 18. He was a native of Donaldsonville, LA and a resident of Darrow, LA. "CJ" was born to the union of Katina and Craig Haynes, Sr. on October 23, 2005. He was a 2022 graduate of Louisiana Believes Home Study and was employed by Walmart in Gonzales, LA. Eighteen years filled with love, laughter, traveling, video games, and basketball. "CJ" charmed all with his stylish looks and witty personality. "CJ" a devoted son and grandson leaves a legacy of love and memories to be cherished by his parents, Katina and Craig, Haynes, Sr.; siblings, Damir and Amari Haynes; maternal grandparents, Linda and Oliver Williams, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Debra and Charles Bennett; a special friend, Alajiah Hilliard; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends who loved "CJ" dearly. Visitation on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Asbury Independent Methodist Church, 31755 Laurel Ridge Road, White Castle, LA from 9:00am to religious services at 11:00am. Interment in Asbury Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Demby & Son Funeral Home, 900 Magnolia Street Donaldsonville, LA (225) 473-9534.
