Angelina (Kiki) Vlamis Herbert peacefully passed away on December 2, 2024. Born in 1935 in Stamford, CT, she was the daughter of the late John and Athena Vlamis.
Angelina leaves behind her loving daughter, Sandra Holbrook, her three grandchildren, Hailey Holbrook, Sawyer Holbrook (Alexis Wagoner) and Ryan Holbrook (Dayna Mynarski). She also leaves behind her niece, Laurie Grimaldi of Northridge, CA and her adopted grandsons Abilash John and Mathew Mendez.
She was predeceased by her son William J. Herbert, Jr., her sister and best friend Clementine Grimaldi, brother George Vlamis and son-in-law Steven Holbrook.
Angelina had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She was the pillar of her family; everyone knew they could always count on her for support. She worked at Stamford Hospital for 25 years and showed every patient kindness and compassion.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 9, 2024, at the Church of the Archangels, 1527 Bedford Street, Stamford, CT. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Angelina's memory to the Church of the Archangels.

I remember Kiki when I was a child. Her children were my age, and they lived on next street over, Maryanne Lane. We used to go there to play with Upright kids, Carolanne Hunt, and the gang. My cousins lived on that street as well. I just recall at the age of maybe 6 that she was a sweet and lovely mom. It was her birthday one day and we all went up to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She was very sweet. RIP.

Sandy, I am so very sorry that your sweet & lovely Mom has passed away. Having spent many times at your house years ago I know how close you two were. Your love for each other was how a mom & daughter should be with each other. I know she loved her grandchildren with all her heart. I hope it will bring you comfort to know how lucky you were to have had such an amazing mom for so many years. My thoughts are with you and your children. Sending my love & my sympathy.
