Mary ISHAM Obituary

Mary Adeline (Lamphere) Isham (85) was born on October 22, 1936, in Cloquet, Minnesota. She passed away peacefully on April 8th, 2022 to be with our Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband Wally Isham, Son Steven Doyle, and grandson Paul Garberg. Mary is survived in death by daughters Debbie (Doyle) Webb (Bill) and Shannon (Doyle) Ennis, grandchildren Dameka, Michelle, Jason, Jessica, and Peder. She also leaves behind multiple Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.

Mary was raised in Spokane by parents Harry and Amanda Lamphere. She graduated from Mary Cliff High School and valued friendships that she stayed in contact with over the years. Mary worked at Holy Family Hospital and Spokane Valley Medical Center as a surgical secretary and surgical technician. Later in life, she and her husband managed storage facilities in three states.

She eventually retired in Spokane where she and her husband spent most of their time traveling in their motorhome frequenting their favorite campsites and lake property. She was an avid quilter in her spare time. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, swimming at the YMCA, and other fun-filled day trips with her best friend and her favorite Aunt Alice (Shorty). Mary was also close with her neighbors. She was often found tending to her flowers in her yard, visiting on the porch or at the back fence.

Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was always surrounded by family and close friends whom she adored. Mary will be truly missed by all. We would like to recognize and thank the staff at Regency @ Northpointe Rehabilitation for the wonderful care and love provided to Mary and family. Mary will be interned at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery with her husband Wally Isham. A memorial service will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers donate to Compassion International or sponsor a child in need.
