Joshua PAINE Obituary
Joshua "Josh" Paine, 42, was tragically taken from us on Thursday, May 23, 2024, in his hometown of Spokane, WA. He is survived by his wife, Leslie; daughter, Shayla; fur-baby, Kash; mother, Lori; and father, Bert; as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandmother, June; uncles, Rob and Darrell; and stepmom, Barb.
Funeral services will be held at 10am, on Saturday, June 1, at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N. Division, in Spokane, followed by a graveside burial at Fairmount Memorial Park.
After Joshua is laid to rest, a Celebration of Life will be held at Hill House Event Center.

My heart breaks every time I think that you´re no longer here with us. You are one of our family´s biggest and most tragic losses and it has shattered us to the core. Every day tears are shed because you are not here and we´re all struggling through the grief.
Thank you for all the wonderful years you had with Leslie and for giving me a beautiful granddaughter. I´ll do my best to hold the family together but we will always be missing one link. You. Know you are always in on hearts, forever on our minds and so deeply, deeply missed.
Please watch over us and help guide us through our worst time in our lives. Bring us sunshine, rainbows, and smiles again.

This is so hard for me to write... Not only does my heart break because of Josh's unbelievable and senseless death, but also because I can't hug and be there for my dear friend that I miss everyday. Lori, I love and miss you and I can't believe you have to go thru this. I can't imagine the pain you're dealing with. I am so so sorry. He was the sweetest guy and his smile could light up any room. I remember coming to your house when he was about 5 or 6 years old, I wasn't wearing any makeup that day and he looked at me and asked...."what happened to your face"? Oh my God we (you and I) laughed SOOOO hard! I'll never forget it. Wish I could talk to you but I doubt that will happen. My own fault....
Please know how sorry I am for your loss, not a day has gone by that I haven't thought about you and what your going thru. If you ever decide you would like to talk or yell at me or push me down a flight of stairs.... lll be there.
