Gene, every valentines was a special time in our home. As you know i´d bake a cake and cut it to look like a heart. Then came the frosting. I would make it pink or red and then add a little peppermint to it. It took you several years to ask me not to put the peppermint because you didn´t like it. You always so kind and considerate you didn´t want to hurt my feelings.
I always put my red and white checkered tablecloth on the table with the cake in the middle. On the side, I had one fancy dish which I put heart candies in it.
I loved to look at you and Julie´s faces at our surprise. Maybe it was because I was so excited myself. I was so proud to have a special evening with my two beautiful children.
Memories like these will always be in my mind and heart. I love you, my sweet son my little man forever love.WOW 143

Rest in Peace dear Gene. You were a very nice man, and I will never forget how kind you were to me, in a world full of venom. You will not be forgotten, and may you rest in peace with your dear wife.

Gene, you are missed more each day. My heart is broken my son.
Since the Lord took your beloved wife Gina home , 10 months ago I know you have been broken hearted. The Lord says he will not give us more than we can handle. I know that is why he came and took you home. Gina and you are now both in Paradise with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
I love and miss you with all my heart.
If I could wish you back I wouldn´t because Jesus took you home . Your new home is full of love , peace, beauty and where we never grow old. I would never want that taken away from you.
I know Jesus isn´t letting you see me grieving for he wants you to see the beautiful things he has in store for you.
I miss my son Gene, Gene David Christensen so much I can just pray I will see you soon. All my love with in my heart and soul. We love you. Karl wants to tell you he loves you and misses you so much.
You were always my little man and now you are my Angel. I can´t let go and won´t. You meant the world to me.
Thank you for calling me everyday. I miss that so much.
You will be in my heart with Jesus forever. Love (WOW) Mom

I love you my dear son. I miss you more as each day passes. At times I can´t believe our Lord Jesus Christ has taken you home.
I know he says he will not give us more than we can handle. Since he took your beloved wife Gina 10 months before he took you home you have. grieved her loss like the wolves and swans do. for they too mate for life.
You left this earth in the morning. Jesus came to you and took you to paradise. That evening I thanked him for taking you home. I then asked Jesus Christ to touch my heart to make sure I was being sincere to him and myself. I then thanked him again for taking you home. Where in Paradise there is no more sadness, sorrow and no more tears. It is a place where we never grow old.
I miss you my son, Gene, Gene David Christensen with all my heart. I would never ask the Lord to bring you back. I miss and love you with all my heart and soul.
I will see you soon, my dear son. You are my angel. Love Mom

I worked with both Gene and his wife Gina at the downtown Lamonts. A finer human would be hard to find. We hit it off right away because we both had the same sarcastic sense of humor. He was incredibly funny and I can still hear his laugh! A huge Dallas Cowboys fan, I used to tease him whenever they lost. After seeing him at Gina´s memorial, we made a vow to get together. Sadly, it never happened. The world was just a whole lot better with Gene in it!
