I used to work with Mark back in 06´ so today I decided to pay him and Dave a visit since it´s been so many years but only to hear of his passing from the new building manager. Shocked and saddened I immediately looked him up and found this memorial. What beautiful and wonderful things people have to say about him. Well Mark, since you´re no longer with us physically, I want to tell you thank you for letting me work for you and believing in me when I needed it the most. My condolences to Dave and the whole family. You will be missed Mark.

Mark was a buddy of my younger brother, Bill Cleveland. He was part of our family. I realized years later that Bill’s friends loved being at our house because he had 5 (amazing) sisters, but mostly because they loved our mom & her cooking. “Berger” as he was known had a dazzling, beautiful smile. THAT is what I’ll always remember about Mark as well as his fun, friendly personality and a Samoyed by his side. Peace out Berger...Jackie Behr

This is hard because at a time like this words just fall short. I was stunned to learn of Mark’s passing. I've known Mark for decades, but “it’s been a minute” as the saying goes, since I’ve seen him. It’s been at least 30+ years or so, but I am so sorry to hear this news about Mark. Mark was such a character!! I think that's what I remember most about him. Not a serious bone in his body. Always the kidder. He had a great laugh and he was always kind to me. I just don’t have a BAD memory about him. I don't know that there's many people I can say that about. I remember that he would joke around and act like he was trying to pick up on me... he wasn't serious - - I knew it, and he knew it. :-) I remember his big fluffy dog Noah that he would bring by the family house from time to time. I remember when he used to work at The Bull Pen in Redondo Beach. Wow... this is just unbelieveable. I am just so sorry for your loss. Mark had a big heart and he was just a great guy... and he has passed on waaaaay too soon. My heartfelt condolences to Mark's family. Blessings to you.

My Mark was a one of a kind man. He loved his family, was the hardest working man I knew, had the biggest heart in the world when it came to animals and children...for the last six years he was why my heart felt so much love! I miss you my love, but I'll see you again!
