ARLEEN MEULEBROECK Obituary

ARLEEN MEULEBROECK It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arleen Bernice (Ellingson) Meulebroeck who died peacefully surrounded by her family. Born to Leland "Speed" and Bernice Ellingson on December 21, 1946, in Marshall, she lived a life marked by love, devotion, and unwavering care for those around her. She was raised on a farm outside of Lucan with her older brother Leroy and two younger brothers, Charles and James. She attended a country school and then graduated in Milroy. Arleen met and married Ronald Walter Meulebroeck in 1967. Together they grew their family with the birth of Scott in 1969, and Sheri in 1971. As a homemaker, she poured her heart into raising her children and nurturing her family with a strong faith and gentleness. Arleen was a longtime member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Marshall where she enjoyed Bible studies with her circle of friends. She was the heart of the family - a constant source of comfort, encouragement, and wisdom. Arleen enjoyed traveling with her family, eventually on adventures with her two grandsons, Jon and Daniel. She also enjoyed baking, especially at Christmas. She will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her, but we find peace in knowing she is now in the arms of her Savior. A graveside service was held in Redwood Falls on Friday, June 20 beginning at 12 p.m. Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation www.BallardSunderFuneral.com.
