Dani Lind Obituary

DANI M. LIND Dani M. Lind, Sr, age 77, died Sunday, January 14, 2024 at his home in Cannon Falls. Dani Milton Lind Sr. was born on January 10, 1947 in Littlefork, Minnesota, the son of Clayton and Shirley (Holbrook) Lind. He grew up in International Falls, graduating from high school there in 1965. Following high school, Dani joined the U. S. Army and served overseas in Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1969. On Nov. 7, 1970, Dani married Beverly Monrean. They lived in Hopkins after their marriage where Dani worked for Gemini. He later came to Cannon Falls with Gemini in 1971. Dani and a friend opened a business called L and L Industries in Faribault for a short time. The opportunity to purchase his own business, Brewster's, came up and he operated it until selling to his sons in 2010. Dani helped start the Cannon Falls Youth Athletic Association and was an avid golfer. He was a member of the Cannon Golf Club and the VFW. Survivors include his wife Beverly, sons Kevin (Tracy) Lind and Dani Jr. (Jennifer) Lind; grandchildren Justyn (Esme), Carli (Zach), Kailynn (Jesse), Carson, Treyton, Elleana, and Tysen; great grandchildren Avery, Frida, and Savannah; brother Robert (Valerie) Lind, sister Donna Boyum, brothers-in-law Dennis (Shellie) Monrean and Randy (Carole) Monrean; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Shirley, sister-in-law Judy Plasky, and brother-in-law Steve Monrean . Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 11:00 am, at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church, 7459 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. There will be a visitation on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 4-7:00 pm, at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd., Canon Falls, MN 55009. The visitation will continue one hour prior to the memorial service at the church on Tuesday. Military honors will be accorded by the Cannon Falls Veteran's Honor Guard.
