Powell, Thomas "Tommy" V., Jr., - 56, of Pleasantville, Thomas "Tommy" V. Powell, Jr., of Pleasantville, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Thursday June 23, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Atlantic City, NJ he was the devoted son of the late Thomas V. Powell Sr., and Joan B. (Nugent) Powell. Thomas grew up in Atlantic City and graduated from Atlantic City High School. He was extremely caring and always the first one there to lend a helping hand. Thomas loved animals and would care for any stray animal that came his way. He was an avid Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Flyers and Phillies fan. Thomas was loved by all that knew him because of his kindness and sincerity. The family wishes to thank all of the special people that helped Tom along life's journey. Thomas will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sister, Terri Brown and niece, Kara Brown. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Thomas's Life Celebration Memorial Service on Wednesday June 29, 2022 at 7:00pm at Jeffries and Keates Funeral Home, 228 Infield Ave., Northfield, NJ 08225. A visitation with the family will be held at Jeffries and Keates from 5:00pm until time of services. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
