Jeffrey Davis Obituary
Family and friends are heartbroken at the death of Jeff Davis, age 54, who died suddenly of a heart attack on October 8th, 2023.
He is survived by his parents, Dr. Leland and Patricia Davis; sister, Lynn (Chance Agrella); son Steven nephew Grayson Agrella; former wife, Colette Breen; and a fiercely loyal group of friends, many of whom have been together since grade school. He was preceded in death by his faithful companion, Niko da Mutt.
Jeff turned his childhood dream of being a firefighter into a 35-year career as a dedicated public servant. He attended Santa Rosa Junior College Fire Academy while still in high school and volunteered with Rincon Valley FD. He was first hired at Bodega Bay and earned paramedic/EMT certifications from Stanford. He joined Corte Madera FD, fought wildland fires with Cal Fire, and rose to the rank of Captain at Novato Fire District before retiring in 2019.
Jeff was a passionate fisherman, spending weeks at a time on the water with his buddies. A talented cook, he generously shared all that he caught! Other interests included travel, carpentry, photography, and working on his vehicles. He had not yet fully embraced all that retirement had to offer, unfortunately, and his passing at such an early age is a huge loss.
The family is grateful that Jeff was with people he loved, doing things he loved, when he passed, and for all the heartfelt condolences that we have received. He will be remembered as a big guy who loved fiercely, a helper with a huge heart.

Celebration of life will be held at Windsor Golf Course on November 19, 2023, from 2-5 p.m.

Oh my -dear Lee and Pat, I just heard this. I am am so sorry you have lost him, such a trauma. Just yesterday Daniel was saying he remembered driving up to your house with Bill and all the animals there . . . hope lots of care and support surround you - Lynn and the rest of his family too.
