Robert Karns Obituary

Robert Earl Karns, born January 8, 1957 in York, PA. Recently retired to Key West, FL, Robert passed away on January 11, 2024.
Survived by his children, Jillian Karns of Shiremanstown and Quinn Karns of Mechanicsburg. Son of the late Richard and Vivian Karns, he had five siblings, Barbara Herr, Phyl Minishak, Pamela Hostetler, Donald Karns and Steven Karns.
Robert was an unconventional and absolutely outstanding father and a brilliant master of the carpentry trade. A loving caretaker to many things besides himself, he was also passionate about skiing, sailing, gambling, dancing, and having fun. Bobby's charm, wit, and contagious sense of adventure will be deeply missed by anyone that was lucky enough to know him.
Donations in his honor can be made to: York Area Intergroup District 45, PO Box 3470, York, PA 17402.
A celebration of life will be held at Ski Roundtop Tubing Lodge on Sunday, March 3 at 2pm.
