Ricky Smith Obituary
Ricky was born on October 24, 1952 in Ellinwood Kansas. He began his adventures in Alaska after moving in 1958 to Soldotna with his parents, his brother, and two sisters.
Ricky was incredibly witty, creative and artistic. He had a knack for turning trash into treasures. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, wandering through the woods, and driving his freedom flag flying truck.
He guarded his gentle soul with chaotic energy, living a life that would have sent a lesser man to his grave decades earlier.
Saying goodbye are: his sisters Rocolyn Bowen (Jeff Derry) and Debra (Mark) Lebrell, and his brother Kevin (Brandi) Smith, and many nieces and nephews who thought the world of him.
Saving his seat in heaven are his parents; Rodney and Valetta Smith and his nephew Craig Bowen.
A celebration of Ricky's fulfilled life will be planned for the summer of 2022.

I knew Ricky from 1979. A world ago.. I was reminiscing last night and Ricky came up in my conversation. I'm so sorry I waited too long to look him up. My heart is happy to see that he had a full life. I have nothing but love and fond memories of him. Love and condolences to his family.
