Cody Fine Obituary

Cody Garrett Fine Sr., 35, passed away on Tuesday May 31, 2022 in Arizona. Even though a tragic motorcycle accident took his loving heart and uplifting smile from this world, his passion and love for life left a beacon of light for all who knew him.

Cody is survived by his beautiful fiancé, Sarah Muhr, and his loving children, Aliah Jean Schouweiler and Cody Garrett Fine Jr. He is survived also by his mother, Corale Fine and fiancé Raymond Dubendorf, and father, Eric Fine and wife Cindy Fine. Grandmothers Judith A. Lucas and Neesha Dubendorf. Sister, Erica Kemp and husband Nicholas Kemp. Brothers, Travis Fine and Josh Fine and Jeremiah Walters. Cody had many step-siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who are all left to miss him dearly.

Cody was preceded in death by daughter, Alaska Grace Fine, grandfather Paul K. Lucas, and many other family members who were waiting for him in Heaven.

Cody found himself in love with the Oil and Gas Industry early in life. From a Roustabout to a Tool Pusher, Cody wore many hats in the oil field and visited places all over the world. He loved an adventurous lifestyle, and the oil field provided for many of his adventures. Recently, Cody was in search of a schedule that would allow him to be at home in Alaska permanently, and became an ASE Certified Diesel Mechanic. With recent news of a full ride, Cody was looking forward to continuing his education with Universal Technical Institute to be certified on high performance vehicles. He enjoyed camping, fishing, gold mining, hiking, hunting, boating, and most of all, being with his loved ones. Cody's cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday June 25th at Sterling Senior Center in the main common area/ church building at 34453 Sterling Hwy., Sterling, AK, with the precession line to follow to the Kasilof Cemetery.
