Ryan Davis
Ryan Davis, 42, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Midland, died unexpectedly on May 27, 2024. Son of Christina (nee Williams) Davis and Michael (Lauren) Davis, Ryan was born in Midland on August 21, 1981. After Ryan's graduation from Dow High School, he went on to Delta College for his HVAC certification. On May 11, 2013, he married Dr. Terra Vajcner in Columbus. Ryan was a committed Detroit Lions and Tigers fan, he could talk on the phone with his brother for hours about them. He also enjoyed playing ball, and being outside in his dune buggy.
Ryan will be missed by his mother, Christina Davis; father, Michael (Lauren) Davis; and siblings, Kyle (fiancée Ardra) Davis, Aveah Williams, Mikey Davis, Saraya Davis, and Danica Davis. He will also be remembered by his grandparents, Keith (Martina) Stewart; aunts and uncles, Trish (Jim) Breen, Robbie Williams, Matt (Rachel) Schieber, Mike (Laura) McCann, and Steve (Deb) Davis; in-laws, Tim (Tammy) Vajcner; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dolores (Chuck) Davis and Lyle Schieber. Ryan also leaves behind his "other son," Baxter the dog.
Memorial services for Ryan will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street, Midland. Rev. John Pohanka will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the donor's favorite charity.
