My mother Ida Ruth Poster nee Wiseman was a cousin to Jay. I remember Peggy as a sweet and cheerful presence in my childhood and as a person who was dedicated to her family. My sincere condolences.

Dear Diane, Gary, Steve, and All,
I have often said that "when I grow up, I want to be like Peggy Chasen." I hope you are experiencing peace in her loss, knowing that hers was a life well-lived.
I met Peggy 42 years ago when we were both Transart dealers. I soon became her interior designer, and she very quickly became my cherished friend, and a very important person in my life.
I have not been able to return to Omaha since I worked on Peggy's move to independent living five years ago, but we regularly kept in touch by phone and greeting cards, and, in more recent times, Peggy's friend, Pat Turner, facilitated our communications on several Friday afternoons.
I am grateful to Peggy for introducing me to Pat, who has become a very good friend to me. There is not likely to be a conversation with Pat that won't include Peggy, whose life was indeed well lived ... beautiful, graceful, gracious, kind, caring, understanding, compassionate, thoughtful, sweet, interesting, open-minded, non-judgmental, and accepting of all.
Rest in peace, Peggy Chasen, as you join your beloved Jay, whom I heard call you his "bride" and his "queen" almost every time he was around. Your memory is indeed a blessing, and you will be missed. Thank you for many good memories that will keep your memory alive.
Love,
Francine (Dold)

She was a sweet lady who reminded me of my mom. I´m glad I got to meet her when Diane brought her to my daughter´s wedding.
