July 23, 1945 - March 8, 2022
Carmen "Carm" Walsh was born in Clarion IA, the youngest of two daughters. She attended Northwest Missouri State University. She married Jim Clark in 1970 and has lived in Omaha since that time. During her working career, she held Administrative Assistant positions at WOWT-TV, Creighton Prep, and Make-a-Wish. Carm was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; her parents, Gerald and Ethel Walsh; and two nephews, Kyle Clark and Douglas Memler. She is survived by her sister, Dianne Memler of Naperville, IL; her niece, Christine Memler; honorary daughter, Barbie Schultz; and honorary family, Emily Schultz, Jimmy Schultz, Ollie Schultz, and Gary Golden; along with nephews: Jay, Colin, and Kevin Clark, and Patrick and Jonathon Trizila.
At Carm's request, her body has been donated to the Nebraska Anatomical Society in the hope of helping to further medical research. A LIFE CELEBRATION SERVICE will be held Saturday, March 19th, 11am at West Center Chapel, Heafey-Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler Funeral Chapel 7805 W. Center Rd., Omaha, NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carm's honor may be sent to: Nebraska Stroke Association or Hospice.

Carmen was such a great lady. I met her years ago while playing keno in the mornings at lavista keno and ralston keno. I also worked on her house for her here and there. The last time I talked with her I called to check in and see how she was feeling after her medical problems and told her if she needed anything to let me know. She told me just take care of your pregnant wife and she hopes we have a healthy baby. She knitted us a blanket for her and the baby girl (Whitney Jo) was just born on Saturday April 9th and will get lots of use out of it. Thank you Carmen for being my friend and I hope you are joined again with your husband.

Aunt Carm was such a special person to me. She would always call to wish me a happy birthday, loved to play some keno or Phase 10, and demonstrated how to stand up for what is right. Carm was the fastest typist I have ever known (120+ wpm), with long nails too! She will always have a special place in my heart and is dearly missed. What a great sense of humor she had as well. The world was a better place while Carm was in it! I love you!
