I don't remember the exact year that it was but Bill got a leave to come home from Vietnam when his daughter was born
That was unusual, we all got together at Fabins Inn on route 19 in Canonsburg we had a great time. Bill was very happy to be home and have a new daughter...Ed Ammon

My condolences to Sharon and all the family. I first met Bill in 1969, I had just got out of the Army and Bill had just gone in. He had orders to go to Vietnam. I remember him as a very personable and friendly guy. I had seen him from time to time over the years and he always had a friendly smile and a handshake. It's hard to believe that he's gone and I'm sure he will be missed by many people.
