Mrs. Gates, Cynthia and Judy and Family awesome neighbors and friends. Mr. Gates cool, calm, and collective. What an awesome man! God is good. Thanks for the memories Gates family. Mr. Gates will be missed. My prayers are with this family. Love you all.

Roger will always be in my heart. We started kindergarten together and graduated high school together and remained friends all these years. And 80 year friendship with a guy that was always humble and respectful and kind is hard to beat! I loved Roger along with hundreds and hundreds of other people. My deepest condolences to his beautiful wife Miriam and his family.

My sincerest condolences to my sister in law Cynthia Gates Davidson on the loss of her father and my brother Ronald Davidson Sr. on the loss of his father in law,and to Mrs. Gates on the loss of her husband and the entire Gates /Davidson family et al. Mr. and Mrs. Gates were always loving and kind . I met them on several occasions. I enjoyed spending time with them and playing games and spades. May God give you all the strength and comfort that you need during this difficult find of bereavement. I know from experience that losing a parent or grand parent etc. can be difficult. Trust in the Lord. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. I am keep you all in my prayers.

Words cannot express the sadness and hurt that I feel with the passing of Rodger. I have known him all of my life and he always treated me with understanding and kindness. He will be missed. My heart, love and prayers go out to the family.

Brickyard royalty. To understand our Brickyard Love you would have to have been from there. Imagine one big house with many rooms filled with family. We are of one block filled with love. Keith Perry can describe this far better than I. Roger Gates forever in my heart.

He was a very wise and humorous man. There was an old saying about the Brickyard: "Brickyard born, Brickyard bred, and when I die, I'll be Brickyard dead."
