Stanley Carnell Briggs, age 51, a native of Terrebonne and resident of Houma, LA passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. He is survived by his children, ZaKambi, Tanye K. Briggs and Donsshauneek Sims; mother, Catherine Jones Briggs Carter; siblings, Danny Morgan, Jaylynn Douglas, Terralynn Fluence and Lori Jones; grandmother, Bertha "MaMe" Harris, 97 years old; aunts, Martha Ann Jones, Linda W. Jones, Sonyna Johnson, Lorraine Griffin and Edith Etheridge; uncles, Donald, Barry Jones and Harold Harris. He was preceded in death by his father Stanley S. Briggs; brothers, Hershel and Norris Briggs; grandparents, Elnora Etheridge, Harrison Jones and Elvin Harris; great-grandparents, Eddie and Kitty Sims Sneeze; aunt, Paula Harris Jones and uncle Norris Briggs.
