Sharon Dehesa Obituary

Sharon Poche' Dehesa passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28, 2023 in New Orleans, LA. She was born on October 6, 1946 in New Orleans, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melba Materre Poche' and Olebert "Albert" Poche'. She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her sons, Darren A. Dehesa Sr., and Steven L. Dehesa, her grandchildren, Darren A. Dehesa Jr., Rachel Dehesa, and Angel Dehesa, her brother, Olebert G. Poche, and sister-in-law, Gwendolyn L. Poche', and her daughters-in-law, Christine Davis-Dehesa and Nicole Adams. She is also survived by a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. Family and friends of the family are all invited to her memorial service on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church, 5621 Elysian Fields Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Father Cletus Orji, officiating. Interment: St. Louis Cemetery #2.
