Paul Comeaux Obituary

Paul "Sonny" Michael Comeaux, was born on July 30, 1942 in Franklin. LA, and was called home by his Heavenly Father on July 30, 2024, at the age of 82. He joins his parents Paul Comeaux and Leona Pesson Comeaux. Paul was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife Patricia DeRocha Comeaux of 35 wonderful years. Paul was a proud and devoted father to his four children Amanda Trumble (Lee), Jon Comeaux (Melissa), James Comeaux (Tammy), Steven Comeaux (Amanda), six grandchildren, Bryce Trumble, Meghan Trumble, Madeline Comeaux, Brody Trumble, Katherine Comeaux and Logan Comeaux. Paul cherished his family above all else. Leaving behind so many wonderful memories that will forever be treasured by all who knew him. Paul was a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He was a veteran of the Air Force and served his country as part of the USO in Vietnam. Paul will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to Liz Mitchell and her staff at Heavenly Staffing Care. We also would like to recognize Melissa and Paula with Egan-Ochsner Home Health of New Orleans. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, 3643 Aurora Dr., New Orleans, LA. A visitation will be between 9:00 am and 11 am. The funeral service will start at 11:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, 9030 LA-23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037.
