Jeremiah Constance Anthony Russell, Sr., age 56, received his wings on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Ochsner Medical Center, Kenner, LA. Mr. Russell was educated in Orleans Parish at St . Cecilia Elementary School, St. Augustine and L.E Rabouin High Schools. He was a retiree of Cox Communications. Son of the late Major James Russell, Jr. and Dorietta JoAnn Jones. Stepson of Judy Julian Russell. Devoted husband of Connie Jackson Russell. Father of Christopher Hiriams (Teresa), Brittany Russell Rainey ( Russell), Jeremiah Martin, Jeremiah Russell, Jr. and Brandon Russell. Grandfather of Russell " Deuce" Rainey, II and Christopher Brown. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, Godchildren, other relatives and special friends. Employees of Cox Communications, Children's Hospital of New Orleans , Landmark, United, Rotech and Optum Health Care, Car Max, Southeast Electrical, City of New Orleans, Louisiana State University of Baton Rouge , Performance Food Services, DK Express LLC, RCGP, LLC and R&B Logistics LLC, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., are all invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Jeremiah Constance Anthony Russell, Sr. will be held at The City of Love New Orleans, 8601 Palmetto Street , New Orleans , LA 70118 on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 10 am, Bishop Lester Love, Officiating.
