Jean Gagnet Dalton, age 95, peacefully passed from this life on December 27, 2023. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a devout Roman Catholic and quietly followed the path of the Lord which has led her to eternal peace. At age 6 , I started visiting the New Orleans home of Jean and my brother Tommy and my nieces and nephew who due to our closeness in age were more like my sisters and brother... I loved spending time in the summer with all of them ...
Jean taught me so many new experiences in delicious food choices and prep ... She taught me how to make her delicious meatballs and spaghetti and the best garlic salad ever ... But my favorite was her delicious artichokes ... I never learned to make them like hers ...
She was " a sister" to me
Since COVID We ""kept in close touch by talking frequently on the phone til about 2 months ago and she really didn´t feel like talking on the phone .... But our 74 years of love , laughter , and visits keeps us forever bonded ..
I love you Jean and YOU will live in in our hearts and memories
