Eric Sims Obituary

Eric Sims entered peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at the age of 52. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Eric was a graduate of West Jefferson High School. He was formerly employed as a packer with Louisiana Produce. Husband of Erica Russell-Sims. Beloved son of Curbit Narcisse, Jr. and the late Dorothy Sims. Grandson of Arthur Sims, Sr., Alma Williams, Curbit Narcisse, Sr., and Lodia Narcisse. Loving brother of Alvin, Derrick, and David Sims, Curtis, Calvin, and Clifford Narcisse, Cheryl Sims, Shaquita Joseph, Diane, Debra, Mary Ann, and Charlene Narcisse, JoyceAnn Locket, JoAnn Reed, Cheryl Tanner, and the late Joseph Narcisse. Devoted godfather of Danisha and Secret Stepter; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
