Richard - After Scott told me about Doretta, the first memory to emerge was Grand Isle family gatherings in the late 1960s. Doretta was the cousin who brought her Monkeys records to the island and played them for her younger cousins. There were large family meals and bonfires on the beach with Bill, Mary, Jenny, Doretta, and many other family members. To this day, I am awestruck by her grace and kindness. I am sure that you, your children, and grandchildren have many beautiful memories of being with Doretta, and have been the recipients of her grace and kindness. I wish all of you consolation in recalling your memories with Doretta. God bless.
