Daniel Simmons III Obituary

Daniel "TuTu" Simmons III was born to Gertrude and Daniel Simmons on June 16, 1972, in Houma, Louisiana. He is extended in life by his parents, children and grandchildren. Daniel was a lover of life, people and making master plans. Whether he was doing construction or selling seafood plates, he always had a hustle in the works. To know him was to hear his laugh from a mile away, to see his smile from down the street or just know that if you saw him out, he would be fly with Mieko by his side. He was a family man, who made it a priority to check on and care for those closest to his heart. To his children he was everything, to his parents he was the moon and the stars, to the rest of us he was just our "TuTu." We will continue to hear that laugh, see that smile and know that his love is never far away. Daniel "TuTu" Simmons III is survived by his parents, Gertrude & Daniel Simmons, siblings Dedra & Desmond Simmons, and most importantly his children Dorrian Carvin, Darian Simmons, Jeren Johnson, JeMiere Johnson-Simmons, Drexi Simmons, Dalain Simmons, and grandchildren Kaidan Carvin, Khoi Carvin, Davian Simmons, Mercy Edmonds. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastor, officers and members of Mt. Olive B.C. are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 3076 W.
